If you're looking for a place to learn Krav Maga you need to visit this place. Come try a week. It's a place where there are no attitudes except good attitudes, the instruction is very good, very thorough and Steve, the instructor, is very knowledgeable in Krav as well as several other fighting methods. He is great about explaining why techniques work the way they do or even why a certain technique may not be such a great choice and that's based on his vast experience in all of this stuff including defending against a knife attack. You will also get a great work out when you start the session. I watch Steve work with kids in the class that is ending when we get there. He is very good with kids and they are all ages. My wife and I went ahead and signed up for a full quarter after the free week. We will be here for a long time. You can also do MMA, BJJ, Kickboxing and Knife Defense classes. If you are thinking about doing any of this come on out. We did not have any prior training in this stuff and we are having a great time. I think the cost here is quite a bit more affordable than the other couple of places that I was looking at.

My husband I have been going to Faction for more than six months. We take the street defense/Krav classes. Steve and his instructors are top of the line. Great community, great classes!!! We learn a lot and the material rotations allow us a lot of practice to master content.

I just signed up this month for the Combative class with Steve and am loving it! Steve is an awesome instructor and I can definitely see how effective his training can be used in real life. Wish I started sooner.

I've been raving about this place for years to friends but realized I should also write a review for other folks to know. Parents- this place is amazing for kids. Our kid has been enrolled for a couple years and we have been beyond thrilled with our experience. Coach Maiston is AMAZING with kids. He meets them where they're at, and strikes a great balance of challenging them, but also not being over bearing. We love how right away, even with such a small introduction to skills, they had my son sparring/wrestling with the other kids. I've seen how having the kids just jump right in helps when to understand what they're being taught and gives them a chance to learn from the other kids through the experience of rolling with them. The kids and culture is very sweet, very supportive. A great blend of being laid back sufficient to allow kids space to learn without feeling overwhelmed, but also opportunities to be well challenged.

If you want to neutralize an attacker in 5 SECONDS or less on the street, in your home, or in an elevator regardless if they have weapons or not, this is the school you want to train at. Steve is an outstanding instructor that will teach you combatives that will work in real life situations.
